Certain apps not available in landscape mode

[knowleqe]

Hey everyone,

I noticed there are certain apps that aren't available in landscape mode, ie; "People", "Search People", and "News" among others. Am I the only one having this problem? I first noticed it when I was trying to search for contacts, it wouldn't go into landscape mode.

thanks!

Nope, you aren't the only one...but a lot of those don't make sense being displayed in landscape mode...the home screen, for example, would be a total mess it displayed that way. So, I think it's a feature, not a bug.

Really, it's up to the Developer to decide though.
