Root CF Auto root "Waiting for divice"

Hey, i'm a Nexus 5 owner and i wanted to root my divice. I'm not really into the world of rooting though i find it quite interesting. So i looked up a way to root my Nexu 5, i saw many videos on Youtube from people working with CF Auto Root. so i tried that. But when i start up the root progam, my divice is in the bootloader, connected to my pc and i'm trying to start to unlock the bootloader, the auto root program says "waiting for divice". I really don't know what to do and can't find any solutions anywhere.... someone an idea?

Take a look at #4 under "extra stuff" at the end of my guide here.

This is most likely driver issues you're having. Adb drivers can be finicky. Though the guide is for a different device the troubleshooting will be the same.

If you still can't get autoroot to work, you might just try it manually. In this case, check out #3 in extra stuff to get all set up and follow this guide.
