I have a little problem I can't manage to solve by myself (and I hope I start my topic in the right place) : I want to change the cyanogen mod7 bootanimation on my rooted HTC Wildfire.
I have created a bootanimation.zip file, with two folders in it and a desc.txt. I can't find the right way to make it work at phone launching.
Pictures : .png
Sizes : try 320x240, 192x192
desc : tried : 320 240 16 and 240 240 16
I tried to put it in data/local (es file root mode or adb push), or in system/media (es file), or by recovery flash and even by replacing the one in cyanogen mod7 system/media .zip original file to re-flash ROM.
The results are black screen freeze after splash1, or no modification at all.
What should I do ? What is the right size for pictures ? Did the number frame value have any importance (for me 16)?
