Help Change Camera Count

Guys,

I've tried to search this and only found one thread, and it didn't quite answer my question.

I added a bunch of pictures (from my old phone) to the DCIM directory my pictures get written to. So I renumbered the new pictures to start at the end of the old pictures. But now when I take a new picture, it doesn't start with the new number.

Is there a way to change the phone's starting number? Have it name next picture 315 rather than 70?

Well that stinks.

I guess I could take 225 dud pictures and delete them . . .
