Just got my unlocked galaxy s2 I need to know if there is a way to incress the font size on my g mail..so I can read it better

Open Gmail tab, Tap bottom left of phone, select "more" and from there you will see a list of changes you can make.

Yes you can change it. Settings, message text size, choose larger.
