Help Change home button behaviour?

funkylogik

share the love peeps ;)
Until recently, when i pressed Home to wake the phone, it just woke the display and took me to whatever app/task i had been using and thats what i like but now it wakes the display and returns to Home.
Ive flashed a few things recently and stopped using Jkay Framework and dont know what caused the good behaviour before (probably Jkay).
any ideas how to change it back (without Jkay)? (I use Nova launcher and no lock screen)
Cheeerz

Ill bump this just the one time lol then let it lie and do my own  research (im getting too lazy from being spoon-fed by the experts on here) :)

I am guessing Jkay framework is a ROM? and sorry I am no expert either, but will try and help out. :) My device is not rooted and when I press the home button it just wakes up and I swipe my finger to the homescreen. If anything I'd suspect it was Jkay that did it unless you were using a different Launcher. I never bothered with it, but I will have a look at it, but probably Jkay since that was last what you used.

Thanks mate
Jkay is a framework mod that i used on top of the custom rom just to change visual parts of the statusbar, not' panel etc but it did have control over button behavior so i think youre right that that was what was causing the behaviour.
Im using two different (better tbh [sorry Jkay] frameworks now so i should really go on XDA and ask them how to or if they could include that function but, to be completely honest, im FULL of respect for the amazing hot-pot of innovation that is XDA but im terrified of posting there lol.... like Sheldon Cooper pooping at work!
This is why i love AF lol :)

Thanx mate. Yeah theres home button options in Nova settings but none of them control it to this level :(

That's the issue then, unfortunately without it the problem will persist. Maybe have a look on XDA, they might have a solution.

I don't use it either, but always keep it for this very reason.
