Hi :) I have a Samsung Galaxy 2 and I often check samsung apps (in spanish) to see if what's new and if I like, I download it. My problem is... I just moved to another country and today I open samsung apps and it showed an update so i clicked on it and when it was ready and oh surprise! my samsung apps is in Serbian language and i want it back in my language because i don't understand anything. I am gonna stay here for long time but i need my app in my language. Please help me, don't tell me I have to go back to my country to have it in spanish again :(

Hi

I live in France and have tried to change it from French to English but there seems to be no way! Some of the headers are in the language of the phones settings but its mostly in French. Googling brings no solution either.

Have you considered setting up a google account and using Playstore. It has almost all of the same apps + many more and you can set the language to more or less whatever you want by logging into your google account on a PC.

What about Settings -> Language -> <country>?

Doesn't that set your locale?

I changed mine temporarily in the Settings menu and it immediately switched to that language.

Then, I re-launched the Play Store app and it was changed, too.

There are also apps in the Play Store that look like they change this, too:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bruce.setlocale&hl=en

For those that want the behind-scenes-details, it looks like the system property, persist.sys.language is what actually gets changed. You can watch it change by using the getprop command from a shell prompt:

shell@android:/sdcard $ getprop persist.sys.language
en
shell@android:/sdcard $

Cheers and I hope that's what you guys meant.

:)
