Change new folder icons

Hi,

On one of my screens I have a number of folders I have created to organise aps - music, going out, image etc - is there any way I can change the stock folder icon for one that has connection to the choice of app - ie can i personalise the new folder icons without having to root?

I don't think you can change the icons of the stock folders. You would need to replicate them using an app such as FolderOrganizer http://androidforums.com/desire-tips-tricks/168533-folderorganizer-beginners-guide.html

An alternative is AppsOrganiser or SmartShortcuts. Both are friendlier to use and if you don't mind not being able to remove the text below, SmartShortcuts has a lot less lag than FolderOrganiser or AppsOrganiser.
