Root change notification bar without flashing custom ROMs?

I just rooted my phone with unrevoked3 and still using sense with LP.

My question is, can you change the notification bar style (color, transparency, battery meter style, etc) without flashing a custom ROM like CM7 or something else?

I'm basically looking for the customizing options that LP gives for the bottom bar, but only with the notifications bar. Is this possible?

Yeah, there really isn't a simple solution, most people don't make themes for just the notification bar. You'd have to theme it yourself if you can't find one.
