Root Change SD Card location

Is there a way to manually edit the files so that we can change the way that eS File Manager looks at to SD card in order to install larger apps?

There has to be a solution

You would need root for sure. Then you would need to move the system cache to a ext partition that you would need to make on the micro SD card. Etc., Etc.

How would I go about moving the cache to an EXT partition. Is there any app or a script to do it?

Moved to All Things Root as this requires root.

Take onto account: Although this could work, you would be at a risk of the phone not booting properly if the SD card fails or is removed.
