Change the bottom bar layout

I believe so, using a dock background. In all honesty, the sense dock isnt as nice as many of the other dock backgrounds.

I am interested in how Sense looks better. 15 scrollable icons (plus 15 more swipe actions) are so much more functional and can make the rest of your screens less cluttered.

Also the pop-ups are very nice too.


Meanwhile, the SENSE dock is barely functional
 
Personally, I use the HTC widgets for WiFi, Mobile Network, Bluetooth, and GPS all the time. I haven't been able to figure out how to implement these through LauncherPro or ADW.Launcher (if its even possible) so I keep going back to the stock launcher.

The power manager bar widget would be fine but it lacks the Mobile Network toggle which is what I use most (for battery conservation).

I really like the 5 button dock though. Much better than stock Rosie =/

I Like LP, but I like Sense for the, don't laugh, clock with weather. I also like how if it rains or snows, the animation that covers the screen. I dont want to lose that! Otherwise, IMHO, LP is better by a long shot

I use LP Plus and I use Quick Settings which is free on the market. It has a mobile data button to turn on an off 3g and also has on and off for Airplane mode, Wifi, GPS, Syc, Brightness,Volume, Bluetooth and a few others. Also with LP you can long press on your home screen then select Shortcuts, then Activities, then scroll down to Settings and then select it, then select Wireless and Networks and it will put a shortcut there to turn on and off WiFi, Airplane mode, BlueTooth and Mobile Network for your 3g.
 
If you root, Myn's warm rom lets you change dock and keep sense. I am loving it big time! Very stable and smooth!

You can have EXACTLY the same thing with Beautiful Widgets on top of LauncherPro: main screen weather animations, same flip-clock, etc.
 
I have tried both beautiful widgets and weather widgets donate. Neither of them compare to sense because they insist on running before you do anything on your phone. So you have to get used to tapping and then doing what you need to do. And it runs over any screen or app. I'm enjoying being able to use the sense clock again and still change my dock shortcuts.
