Change the Lockscreen background

I'm I missing something, but I cannot seem to find the setting to change the Lockscreen background? The only option I can see is to set the Home screen Wallpaper which also changes the Lockscreen, but I want a different image on the Lockscreen!

I'm sure I could do this on the Hero but not on the Desire.

When I go in to Personalize all that is in there is Scenes, Home Wallpaper and Default Ringtone - No Lock Screen Wallpaper.

This is on my unlocked Desire and my wife`s TMobile Branded Desire.

Same here. I would be interested in a work round for this too.

Two ways I know of so far

LockBot (either free or paid for version)
Widget Locker

The latter will also alow you to put wigets and shortcuts on the lockscreen too
I run mine with a clock and a battery meter

My fiancee has a HTC Wildfire, when she goes to 'set as' she has the option of wallpaper or lockscreen image but on my desire I don't have this, both running android 2.1

Any ideas why i can't and she can?

Possibly due to the fact that we can have live wallpapers and the hero\wildfire can't?
