I'm from Canada so I use the Canadian Play Store. I dunno how Google detects it but I also have a US Google account but when I log in with it I still can't see US only apps like Turntable. Fm. Is there a way to bypass this?

I would guess it tracks the cellphone network your on.

have you unlocked and rooted yet? Look up an app called market enabler. It's not on the play store.
I'm not sure if this will work, but it's worth a shot. It'll basically tell the play store you're on a different carrier like T-Mobile or whatever you set it to.

My theory is, you tell play store you're on an American carrier, American apps will become available.
