Change trackball led?

[surgeon0214]

I know this is possible on the Nexus One and I was wondering if it is on the Drod Eris.. It would be the coolest thing to have like a green trackball

[tommy_ed]

i was thinking the same thing, unfortunately it cannot be done

[alprazolam]

Yes it would....but no, we are stuck with a white trackball on the Eris.

it will void the warranty.. but i know it's possible to physically change the trackball to a different color like blue or something.

Thanks guys. Oh well..

So funny. I remember when people where excited to change their green LEDs on their computers to the new blue LEDs, and then white ones after they came out. We've come full circle.
