Change wallpaper with location using gps

Is there any app to change the wallpaper dynamically depending on our location like using gps...because I want to change the wallpaper when I am at home and at work...

Please let me know

this probably might use gps just like the weather...but should change the wallpaper

So your phone cost about $200-$600 and you are worried about $6 for an app that is one of the best apps available on Android period???

Just get a dumb phone if you don't want great apps

Tasker does so many different, useful and cool things that it's well worth the price. Plus you can get it slightly cheaper with a free 7 day trial if you download it direct from the developer's website.

I use Tasker to change my wallpaper depending on whether it picks up a certain Wifi connection. It'll also change volumes, toggle GPS, turn on vibrate or any massive selection of other things. When I leave that location it changes back.

I change my wallpaper automatically whenever I'm at work.

Other things Tasker does for me... mute my phone at work, launch car dock in my car, launch white noise when I go to bed, control ringer and notification volumes, auto reply to SMS when driving, turn on wifi at home and off when not, disables and enables sync and gps when needed, reminds me to take out garbage, auto send SMS at a scheduled time... I'm done, I could keep going but I'm tired of typing

Be aware that frequent polling of your GPS receiver will kill your battery.

Possibly. I use Tasker and can't comment on free alternatives though. Good luck.

There's the Tasker site. The Tasker wiki. And countless Tasker threads on various Android forum sites including this one. Not to mention Tasker's own forum.

Whether or not you can pick up Tasker using those tools is a subjective matter.

This is a great thread with tons of ideas for tasker plus lots of helpful people to help you set up the profiles. I have helped a lot of people and I have also got some great profiles from this thread, including the one that changes my wallpaper. There is also the tasker wiki which is a great place to get some initial profiles set up.

I'm definitely not new to Android, but I am always going to think it is crazy that someone complains about an app costing a couple bucks.
