Help Changed battery and now no 3G/4G

So today I decided to go back to my original battery. I have had the Samsung 2100mah battery since launch day and it is pretty much cooked. The OEM battery has never been used so I figure it should handily outlast the extended at this point.

As soon as I changed the battery my time and date were off. The phone thought it was 12/31 at 7:00 a.m. (it's 8 a.m. on 9/14). I found that the phone automatically unclicked automatically set time. No big deal.

I also found that my phone won't connect to 3G/4G, it has full bars but the set is grey. Wifi works fine. Is there a setting I could be forgetting?

Thanks

p.s - rooted Verizon version running OEM 4.3 (original version)

1. Try pulling the SIM card and reinserting it.
2. Try turning mobile data on/off
3. Try turning airplane mode on/off
4. Try pulling the battery and re-booting.
5. Try putting the extended battery back in and see if that works. If it does, weird.

Oh. That's interesting. I know when I was traveling and had no data signal the phone couldn't update time/date over wifi because it was set to automatically get it from the network. Odd that it couldn't update while you were on wifi if you had a data signal available.
