Root Changed boot animation, now stuck in boot loop

So I can boot to CWM, but I deleted the GSE zip file from my SD card a while ago to save space. How do I get USB mass storage so I can put the rom back on my SD card and re-flash it??

Changing boot animations worked every other time for me... maybe it was me renaming PowerOn.mp3 in \system\media\PowerOn to PowerOn.mp3.bak -- that stupid droooidBOOMCRACKSPLASHGLASSBREAKING noise is obnoxious as hell and wanted to make it boot silently =\

why dont you just do a factory reset? wipe data and cache

thats what im trying to say. i cant flash a rom because i have no rom to flash. i deleted it off my sd card to save space on it because i didnt think id need it again.

since i cant boot my phone i cant get USB Mass Storage to function, which would allow me to transfer a rom to my sd card. i cant flash a backup because i guess i never made one =\ stupid me

so if you have a external sd card go find a computer that has a slot for it and save the kernel onto it. There are some you can buy for really cheap. You could even get the usb plug in for the micro sd
 
yeah i guess ill just have to do that. i will go door to door in my neighborhood asking people if they have a microSD slot reader on their computers that i can use for a few minutes, LMAO

edit: amazon.com... guess ill just buy this. pretty cheap and looks like it will do the trick of putting this zip from my computer to my phones SD card

better to pick one up at radio shack for about $10 for a 4gb card with micro sd adapter.
 
Trust me my back pack is full of micro SD adaptors and cards LOL. I'm fortunate enough to have two laptops with micro SD card readers
 
well i already have an 8GB card, only need an adapter. i found that one on amazon for less than 4 dollars with free shipping. pretty sweet deal. usually radio shack items are ******edly expensive. for example i needed a USB printer cable and an HDMI cable there and both were 25$ for 6ft cables cheapest. amazon had them for 4$ free shipping all day long
 
well i couldnt wait a week, so i went to radioshack and spent 13 dollars on one. way more than amazon but hey it works and was able to flash GSE II so its all running now.
 
the same thing happened to me a while a go lol. even when i did a data wipe the same boot animation was there looping me. but lucky i had a back up on sd card. that's when i learn always have a back up on you're sd card no mater what.

I have about 5-8gigs of back up on my pc just in case. but but always leave at least one on you're phone hope you've learn you're lesson Like i did lol . And I'll be getting one of them card readers looks nice.
 
i changed boot image now stuck in reset cycle... any help would be great.... i've bricked androids and blackberrys before but always been able to fix them... this esteem is kicking my rear.... please help lol:mad:
 
wow I thought all modern pc's and laptops have sd card readers, heck even my netbook has one

yeah for the most part, from manufacturers like dell etc they do, but i build my own computers from scratch and never thought id need all that stuff lol. gotta admit sometimes you just do though.
 
Went to metro today. They tried everything I already did and they don't have any loaner phones and esteem is on back order.... Called lg and going to have a new esteem in about 2 weeks. Ugh
