Apps Changed description to add better keywords - How long for it to take effect?

I just changed my app descriptions to add better keywords, be shorter, and just be more efficient.

The descriptions are now live in the Android Play Store, but how long does it generally take before the keyword searches will take effect?

Anyone with experience here?

It can take several (many) hours before they'll show up...in fact, when you hit "Save" (Publish?) on your Developer Console you should get a small note/banner up-top indicating this (at least I do in Chrome).

Back in 2010, it was often just a matter of minutes...now, with hundreds of thousands of apps (if not more), it can take 5-7 hours sometimes...

Thanks. Like I said, the description shows up already, but the keywords still have no effect. I'll wait 24 hours and see if I can notice any change in the search rankings for some of my keywords.
