Help Changes to calendar entries

Hello,

I have an unrooted DHD, 2.3.5, and I have been experiencing an issue which is impacting my faith in the default calendar application: Updates to calendar entries, made via Outlook 2007 or 2010, are not reflected onto the device. Adding or deleting entries works fine however.

i.e. steps to reproduce:
1. Create an entry in Outlook 2007/2010
2. Save it
3. Sync mobile device and confirm event appears in Calendar App.
4. Change body of original invite in Outlook 2007/2010 or change the time of appointment
5. Save it
6. Sync mobile device
7. Notice the change is not sync and the original entry remains

Is this a known issue? It's really annoying when I miss meetings as the times have changed or when the body of the calendar invite is not sync'd (updates).

go into the Calendar widget, 'Menu > More > Calendars > Remove Calendars'

Then try again hope i helped.

I am not using a widget - just the stock HTC calendar application.
Can you confirm that you don't have this issue?

So the problem is the calender doesn't save changes made to entries......
Hmmmm
I don't use it but have you made sure everything syncs properly? Is your wifi on etc...
Have you tried going into settings, accounts and sync, and force syncing calenders from there?

I use My Phone Explorer which works great.

Yep, tried all that. Even deleted the exchange account, cleared calendar cache, etc. I am surprised that others aren't experiencing this issue.
