Root Changing boot screen audio on GingerSTEEM 1.0

OK i know on stock rom i can change it easily. its located under system/sound/power/MetroPCS_PowerOn.mp3


BUT, the power folder doesnt even exist on GingerSTEEM. and the only audio file i could find related to what im doing is system/media/audio/poweron/poweron.mp3. The PowerOn.mp3 was a very short tone.


Also, ever since i flashed this rom, ive had no bootscreen audio whatsoever. The boot screen animation (colorful array of tiles) plays.

Am I missing something? Is the boot audio disabled by default?

go to system/ sounds/power its there that's were mine is

Just Make a power folder and put an mp3 renamed and see if it works.

OK. Why not flash to Esteemed ROM from PG. That one includes the audio folder where you can edit.
