Help Changing boot up sound

[marefin]

Can anyone tell me how to properly change the boot up sound on the Captivate. Also, is changing the boot animation possible? Thanks.

edit. phone is rooted

You will have to either download a ROM that has custom boot animation (which most do). Or just download a boot animation and install it.

You should be able to find stuff here Captivate - All Things Root - Android Forums
