Root Changing camera app

Okay, so i hate the camera app on htccm10. is there anyway i could change it to the camera on sense 4.1 if i have the apk? or any other camera app for that matter,

Make a backup and try
Put it in system/app and set permissions

I know on a most jb roms the stock cam is gallery2. But not sure about what u have
