Changing Charger port - Help!

Hey! My phone wont charge and when it does it doesn't hold it. My port wiggles around so I know it needs a new one. I called Samsung and they want to charge over $70. I know the part is cheap so I want to try to do it myself. I have the galaxy s2 sght989 from T-Mobile. I have found the part I believe is right....

I honestly think you should get someone to do this for you as opposed to you doing it yourself. If you mess and solder two terminals together, you will fry your Samsung's motherboard.

That makes no sense to take battery out then reboot. It won't work without the batter lol.

Still think we all need to send a mass email to Samsung and have them remedy this horrible situation. Other phones have great battery life. Not fair. We pay good money for products that fall short. We should not have to shut off tons of stuff otherwise what is the point to a smart phone. BTW, Tmobile gave me an extra battery to try and it made ZERO difference.
