Is it possible to disable the Google search engine and set another as the default? If so, can anyone please tell me how? Thanks.

I'm using Miren browser ...
That gives you the option at startup of Google, Bing or Yahoo searches. BTW it's a very nice browser to work with, I love the backwards and forward arrows, much easier to navigate between pages.
