Root Changing kernel does it require anything to be wiped?

Hi,
I would like to try other kernels out currently using imoseyons kernel and wanted to try zoom. Would I need to wipe anything before flashing kernel?

It's recommended to wipe cache and dalvik cache.

Before flashing anything always wipe cache and dalvik, you shouldn't notice any difference in use after the wipes but not wiping can cause issues.
