Help Changing Lock screen

Hey all, how do i change the lock screen? i was looking at my gf's galaxy s.... which she can change her lock screen to a jigsaw puzzle or something, and swipe thing... thanks in advance :D
 
Hi.

You wait for 2.1. There are a few alternatives like GOTO Lock but they aren't brilliant, and some still require you to use the swipe lock too which obviously defeats the object.
 
unfortantly the app that takes the screen lock right off also messes up your notification drop down. freezes it. DOH!

I think they are all a bit iffy tbh which is why you're best waiting for 2.1. I don't mind the swipe so haven't sought to change it, so you'll just have to try such apps for yourself, I'm just going on what others have reported.
 
Swipe tends to get a touch laggy for me on occasion when answering calls, but aside from that I don't mind it. Would still jump at any opportunity to change it.. my husband of course has the Acer and he has 2.1 and his nice and neat little highly-responsive slide-straight-across doohickey... [/jealous]
