Root changing my preset dock?

So i have a rooted droid and I didnt notice that the rom i added included a docking application. so when i got my Droid dock i switched it to use this selection every time for the stock dock application. How do i remove that so i can change it to using the other application (thats on my rom) every time.

(if you dont know what i mean its the same idea as using another home it comes up like do you want to use this home or this other home.. and would you like to use this every time)

Settings - applications - manage applications - "app you want" - clear defaults

Settings > applications > manage applications > filter (hit menu soft key)> all > dock you are using > clear defaults. I had to do it today. I think those were my steps
