Changing name on pictures

Hi.

Im wondering if its possible to change the name of the pictures I take with my Samsung Galaxy S2.

Now the name of the picture is the date, for instance: 20120201_164558.jpg

Is there anyway to change that?

No. Its down to your firmware.
File name are in "yyyymmdd_hhmmss" format.
August 2011 firmwares and earlier (pre KG3 possibly) were in "yyyy-mm-dd hh.mm.ss" format

The only way to change the names is to rename them in windows (or file manager on the GS2). I'm not sure how this would affect the display sequence in the gallery app however, as I'm not sure if it goes on the filename or actual filestamp. Other gallery apps (eg QuickPic) can show in different sorted sequences.
