Changing PRL

Ok, I am trying to update my PRL. The instructions I was following had me go into the data menu, but the PRL Write function isn't there in Jelly Bean apparently. Is there another way to make this happen?
 
well updating ones PRL is done through settings/system update/update PRL. That will have your phone check for a newer PRL
 
Okay that is changing your PRL and that is not something you do through the phones menus. that is using CDMA workshop to install a Sprint PRL. Doing this doesn't always help you though.
 
Like I said, one website had a method for doing it through the data menu. But the PRL Write function isn't there, which I think was removed in Jelly Bean. But, that's ok, I will try the method you mention.
 
Im looking to do this too to my S2 too. For my retired Prevail, I used cdma workshop and changed my prl 20 times. Some work....some dont. Does anyone know if its the same for both phones?
 
There was never a way to change prl in the data menu... I always had to use a program on my prevail, never did it on the S2 cause I actually get good service with the boost prl. Prl all depends on where you live so some will be great for you and some won't.
