Hmm. I've never heard of using a task manager to move apps to the sdcard, so I'm not quite sure what than entails.
Anyway, here's what I would recommend:
- Do a titanium backup of all user apps (an option in the batch operations menu).
- Move any apps you've installed to the sdcard back to the phone. If you run out of space whilst doing this, don't forget that your titanium backup means you can temporarily uninstall apps now to save space. This means you can be sure the phone isn't going to complain when you put the new card in, since there are no apps running off it.
- Now mount your old sdcard and copy all of your files to your PC.
- Put the new card into the phone and format it. That can be done via the phone's menus or via your PC whilst mounted, either way is fine. That just makes sure everything is set up correctly on the card.
- Mount the new card to your pc and copy all fo your files to it.
- Move all your apps back to the sdcard and reinstall any you removed temporarily. Once that's done, you should be set.
Also, just so you know, a custom recovery would be pretty useful in this situation. They allow you to do a full backup of the phone, meaning that should anything go wrong in a situation like this, you can just roll back in a few mintues. It's a very handy tool for anybody with a rooted phone.
