Root Changing SD Cards

Hi

I am having some issue with non booting and freezing and thought I might try a different brand of SD card.

How do I change over.. I have Gparted mine with 1024 Ext 3 and the rest as FAT32. I can Gpart a new one easily enough. but what do i do then?

Thanks

Just re-reading this. Do I need to copy over the whole contents of my SD Card to PC and back again. I thought I'd be able to copy the nandoid backup folder only and restore from that?

I changed SD card last night and flashed Teppics GB ROM.. the phone has been really stable so far... fingers crossed!

I did have problems copying all the contents of the SD Card.. windows popped up a message offering to fix it.. I suspect some of the card was corrupted.

depends if you want the rest of your SD card data or not... You can restore just the nandroid folders (in original folder structure from root upwards) and restore that. You just wont have any SD data is all.

ooh.. I didn't realise it left out the sd card. I assume it was an image of the whole phone.

I guess my plan to restore mildwild is blown as the card was corrupted some files didn't copy... It'll give me more practice on flashing though!

If the nandroid backed up the sd card you'd be unable to make a backup once the card was more than about half full. ;)

It does back up the ext partition, but not the fat32 one.
