Help Changing sdcard

I have a 16gb class 2 sdcard. I am thinking of getting an 8gb class 6 sdcard. I know I will need to make it a goldcard but if I do will I be able to still use the 16gb one? Are there any problems changing from one card to the other?

The reason for changing is to hopefully get a better sync between sound and video on the BBC News 24 and I doubt if i would ever fill an 8gb let alone a 16gb card.

Just as long as you create an ext partition on the new one and nandroid backup the old one and restore it to the new one, all should be fine.

Make sure windows is set to show hidden holders and backup the SD card to PC including the backup...
