Help changing specific notifications (gmail)

Am I missing something here? Im trying to change the notification sound for gmail but cant seem to find out where to do it. Its a little annoying having the same notification for sms and gmail.
 
If you change the "Notification Sound", it will change both SMS and email. If you change the SMS tone (in the messaging app), it will change it separately from the general notification, giving you separate tones.
 
open gmail app. menu soft key -->more -->settings --> select your account --> labels to notify -->inbox --> set your ring tone.

If you have multiple accounts, you can set different tones for each account!!
