Changing the Headphone button behavior.

Is there a way to set the inline headphone button to do something other than start/stop media? I would like to set it to something more useful such as search so I can remotely activate Vlingo. Thanks in advance.

I say you need to head to: Samsung Captivate - xda-developers

Ask in the development forum and see if you can get answers. These guys do that kind of stuff all the time and will know if it is possible and if a hack that has already been developed for an old phone can be ported to our phone.
