I really dislike the phone app on this phone, and I don't know if I can install a different phone app instead. If so, y'all feel free to suggest one.
What drives me BATTY about this app is the number dialpad. I dread calling somewhere that has menu options "press 1 for.... 2 for....".
The phone will flip back and forth between the dial pad and the active call screen. It's aggravating as heck when you try to press a menu option on the dial pad, and the phone reverts back to the active call screen just before you press the number, and you end up hitting the "end call" button instead. Then you gotta fight the phone AGAIN and work your way through the menu AGAIN.
Meanwhile, there's a HUGE empty spot (a person's shadow/silhouette) where a picture might otherwise be. In other words, 100% wasted space where you could put the freaking dialpad where it would actually be useful.
Lately my phone has been giving me bad call reception, I get really bad echoes of my own voice, and my backlight on the screen flickers a lot when I wake the phone out of sleep mode. Not looking good.
