Changing you 'Voicemail' number

I see this is a common problem with the phone.

I've done a search, but can't find a fix - anyone found one?

What do you mean? You want to use another voicemail service? Please clarify

Do you want to change it for personal pref. or is your phone randomly changing it for you? If you just want another voicemail num call you mobile provider and they can configure one for you so you dont end up missing all you messages

I bought the phone sim free, but i am now on the giffgaff network - which works off the o2 network.

I think the phone is recognising the o2 signal and it has programmed in the 901 number for voicemail. I have tried to change it, by inputting the new voicemail number, however, when I save it and come out, it still holds 901.

Wee update.

Once I transferred my old number to my new giffgaff sim, the voicemail number automatically updated!!!
