Help Charge from PC

Newbie wants to know if the LG Optimus S can be charge via PC via USB? Thanks!

Pc lower voltage does not charge as well even after done u are better with the ac/dc chargers imo.

yep! u can charge it on your PC via the USB cable. and while its charging, u can still access your files there.

Not sure why my phone takes around 5 hours to charge on A/C with the stock charger or 1000mA wall charger as well. now thats from nearly 0.

Are you sure your phone charges in 3 hours empty to full? The same wall charger i use would charge my hero in 1.5 hrs or so with same size battery (1500 mAh) now its about 3x that...I think the Optimus limits how much amps it will let charge the battery.
