My Triumph has been acting up over the last few days. Earlier in the week, it went dead, but when I went to put it in charge, it would boot, charge to about 10% and then go dead again as soon as I left it alone (WHILE it's still on the charger mind you).
I finally got the thing off the ground by using a different charger, at which point it seemed to charge to 100%. I checked to make sure this was a true 100% charge (as the thing had stopped charging, telling me it was done, but as soon as I unplugged it, it jumped down to about 60%. I had to reinsert the charge plug a few times to get it to continue.), and it was. I did a battery calibration, thinking this would solve the issue, but it didn't. It charges with one charger that I have and SEEMS to go all the way to 100% without skipping ahead, but I'll still see it drop down dramatically (20% or more) as soon as I look away from it.
Different chargers cause the thing to stop charging at lower percentages, yielding the same "Charged" message and same subsequent dramatic drop in battery percentage.
What's wrong with it? Is it the charge port or the battery that's the problem?
