Help charge over night

This is probably a stupid question but is it ok to leave in the charger over night. Will that ruin the battery?

There is probably a thousand different debates on this subject, from my experience it does not ruin the battery and you should be just fine. I dont know if these newer batteries still have the memory issues but I usually let mine drain to like 5% before I plug it in.:D

Set your mind at rest! Generally the phone has some safeguard methods like charging time/charge voltage, etc. For this reasom sometime you will find the battery cannot be full charged to 100% which can be found in the setting-about the phone-status.;)

Yea, i kinda noticed it never charges to100% when have it turned off...it stops at 95%... if i charge while its on it goes to 100%...

Modern Lithium-Ion cell phone batteries can't be over charged, unless the battery itself has been damaged due to moisture or impact, etc.

They react to attempts at overcharging. The entire process of charging the battery is handled by the charger itself of course - and if the charger isn't good quality, or is one of those "rapid charge" types, that can lead to unexpected problems like your battery catching on fire.
