Help Charge phone with USB camera running

Is there a way to charge an Android phone with an external USB camera running? We have tried multiple adapters and configurations without success, including the following items:

I think that the s6 supports wireless charging. Perhaps one of the charging pads would be a solution?

This way you can set the phone on the charging pad and still leave the usb port available for a camera.

Thank you for the response. We want the user to be mobile. Is there a way to apply the solution you recommend so that the user can walk around with the external USB camera transmitting through the phone and have 10-12 hours of life? If not, is there a way to use a battery pack with a USB cable connection to the phone and have USB camera input at the same time?

You won't be able to charge the phone while the USB port is in service as a camera.

I don't see asking the S6 user to also carry around a wireless Qi pad as an option either.

If, the phone/camera is being used as a security device ( ie, not portable ) then a Qi pad would work.

but this is getting to be pretty much of a kluge.

@AZgl1500 - That is the impression I have. I suspect the issue is at the hardware level. Either the micro UBS port on the phone can accept power in or supply power out (to a connected device). I do not think it can do both simultaneously.
