Charger bezel

I noticed that the bezel around the charger port is loose on my incredible. The charged port itself is not loose but the bezel outside it is. Is this normal?

No, that is not normal. However, I'm not surprised since the the usb plug fits so tightly and is hard to unplug from the port.

Thanks for your response. I found a post of the similar issue on a different website so it seems like it could happen to other people also. I just got the phone on Sunday so I am debating if I should go back to the store to get it replaced or just keep it since it doesnt seem to affect anything. This phone has been working pretty good and dont want to test my luck with the replacement.

I just had my case off tonight and noticed the same thing on my phone. Mine is only about 2 weeks old and has been running fine so I don't want to get into refurbished phones over something like this. It might even be designed this way on purpose so the charging port itself doesn't become damaged if the housing around it is bumped.

I am also starting to think that it was designed this way. I think that some back covers keep the bezel tighter than others cause I noticed this when I took the back cover from my wifes phone. Hers would not move, but it moves when the back cover is off.

mine does the same...moves when the battery cover is off, snug with the cover on.
