Charger Compatibility

Does the plug fit the S3? I know I've used Samsung & Motorola chargers with the wife's S3 when she had problems. They both worked just fine for her phone.
 
FYI. just because a cable looks the same doesn't mean it has the same internal pins as the stock S3 cable. A lot of times you'll get lucky and actually be able to charge the phone if it fits. Transferring data is a different story. Just because the phone will charge with a cable does not necessarily mean it will transfer data. I've got several cables at my house that look alike. All will charge the phone but only 2 will transfer data. :D

The iPad cables I've seen will not work at all with the S3.
 
You're going to do you S3 some damage if you try to push an ipad charger into it.

I can't think of any Apple product that uses a micro USB like the S3.
 
Dude. Are you talking about the whole assembly (cable & plug)? Or...... are you just referring to the plug? Personally, I've never seen an actual Apple cable that would fit a Samsung device. The plug however is a different story. Plugs that have a USB port can be used with pretty much any device.
