Charger Kit - will it work ?

Just found my tomtom mains / usb charger that I bought in NZ..
Comes with US, UK, AUS/NZ & Euro plugs and cost me

I'm using the 5v 1200ma charger that I had from my Nokia N85 with my desire as a spare at work, seems to be fine.

It is the same output as the HTC standard PSU, so I would have thought it to be OK !!

Ah just realised why my phone is not charging properly as the car charger is only doing .5ma not 1.0ma.
