Charger making odd noise (UK ETA-U90WE)

Bit of an odd question....recently I have noticed that my Note II charger that came in the box is making a whistling noise. I dont know if this is a recent thing or if it has been doing it since new as I usually this charge in the office and there is a lot of background noise. Anyone else's doing this? (Charger is a UK, 3 pin, ETU-U90WE)

It only makes the noise when charging / drawing current.

I have stopped using it just in case it is faulty.

I had a faulty charger (different issue) and Samsung UK sent out a replacement in a matter of days. Just give them a call for piece of mind. My current charger is silent.

You just need to provide them with your IMEI number.

My US charger does the same thing. I noticed it only happens when the battery is fully charged but still plugged in.
