Charger port

My wife's transform keeps giving the charging/not charging beep as soon as she unplugs. Her phone is not rooted btw( not yet anyway). Any ideas?

for how long?
have u restarted?
and u r sure its the charging beep and not the signal lost beep?

I think the fix people are using for that is to run the battery flat and then fully charge it while the phone is off.. turn it on after fully charged and see if the issue persists..
