Help Charger problems

Hello everyone, I have had this problem for a week now and thought I would give it a shot here

Whenever my Samsung ISN'T plugged to the charger cable, it vibrates and it keeps connecting to the non-existing charger cable. I happened to spill some water on it not long ago and I think that might be the source of the problem. Now I do not know what to do? Some people say I need to get a new battery, but one of those takes like 20-25 days to send/recieve. Do I really have to get a new battery?
So if anyone got some tips or even a solution (!), I would greatly appreciate them

Seems to be a common fault with the USB port, but yours is almost certainly due to water damage.

First thing to try is to give the USB port a good clean with an air duster and/or toothbrush.

If this makes no difference, then you may have a faulty port (possibly corroded) and would need replacing.
