Charging Bleep

Hi All,

Just got myself a S2 and am loving it so far.

Upgraded from an orginal htc desire and its so nice to have space to move around in the phone and save things whenever I want without worrying if I would crash the phone.

Anyway....

When I plug in the charge lead or usb lead I get a bleep so notify its been plugged in. How on earth do I stop that sound???

Its driving me crazy when I plug in my phone next to my bed and I disturb my 4month son who is sleeping in the room with a BLEEEP.

Any help would be fantastic!

I think you can do it if you download tasker (not sure how).
Another way is to delete or rename the sound file but you need root to do this.

Download Battery Charged Silencer from the android app. market. Works a treat. Except the vibrate still remains, but thats not too much of a problem

You need to train your kid not to be so sensitive to sounds. I used to vacuum with my kids sleeping in the same room. Now they sleep through anything. :)

I find the beep when the batt is full more annoying. It wakes me up almost every night.
