Help Charging box not working

Plugged in my usb cable into my wall charging box (cube with cable insert on the side) this morning and nothing. Tried it in different outlets. Nothing
Put the cord into my laptop and it starts charging.
It's only two months old, can these things die that fast?

It might be a bad one. Bring it back to where you bought it, I'm sure they'll be more than happy to replace it.
