Accessories Charging car dock

I unplug my Doid in the morning and plug it in the car when I leave, Once at work it goes in the desk top charger (8) hours of Slacker Radio) then heading home back to the car charger and same thing once back home. I will never be caught with a low battery.:D This dock is going to rock! Most car stereos now days can be modified. My car stereo is stock (honda accord) and it has a sat radio button. With a small modification my Droid plugs into the jack. If not a new stereo (70.00 + or -) should take care of the problem.

Same here. I love how the power plugs into the car dock and not the phone. What I am wondering now is if the radio has Bluetooth, can a person stream Internet radio through the bluetooth on the phone to the radio? And how will the sound quality be?
 
Anyone know if the car mount will come with any cables? Sure it describes the jacks but never mentions if it comes with cables. Same with those people that do video reviews, never showing the cables that come with it... making me think that it is NOT included... which is so lame.

I just ordered mine and will let you know on Wed. I will put pics up mounted in my car as well.

Received my Car Dock, HDMI charging station and HDMI cable today. Love the way Verizon and Motorola get together and market with the cool Droid boxes. All accesories look great.
 
Just walked out of a VZW store with two desktops, HDMI, and one car mount.

Does the dock also have a 3.5mm jack or do we have to plug that into the phone itself?

They started out not included for the Droid 1. Then later on it was included. I bet the Droid X will follow the same deal.


By the way, a Car Charger for the Droid 1 should work with the Droid X and its car mount right?
 
I'm going to buy the car dock with in the next few hours and I will post pictures of it, the wires if any kinda like a unboxing of it.
