Charging Cradle Instock VZW Online

FYI...

The Utah zipcode was out of stock tonight. Also tried a Saint Louis and Milwaukee Zip code.

Couldnt remember any others on the top of my head...until...

90210 did work. Guess Beverly Hills always gets the good stuff.

I just tried your ZIP to order a dock and a shell/holster combo and it worked. Got my EPP discount and the free overnight shipping as well.

It's my nature - I am an admin at Calendarofupdates and a mod at sevenforums, and I have been getting online helping folks with things for as long as I can remember.

I ain't always right, but I sure can find an answer pretty quickly lol.

But you were the one that clued me in to change the ZIP, and also about the free shipping code....

I got both, and with EPP saved $15.00 plus shipping costs. Can't beat that with a stick....

I ordered 2 on Saturday at about 4PM eastern. I just got an email saying my order was cancelled as the dock is not available.
 
Oh wow, sorry to hear that for those canceled or backordered. I placed my order on Sat. and received an email Sunday night saying it was shipped via FedEx. Strange thing about 20 minutes ago I received a phone call from FedEx confirming the delivery for Tue. by 3pm requiring a signature. I've never had a call like that before.

Ordered mine yesterday, and I just got that call from FedEx this morning with my tracking number. Very strange.

Same exact thing here. Fedex just called to confirm a Tuesday delivery with signature required. Never had that happen before. Also weird that they called my home phone as I have never had anything shipped to my home address. I always provide my work address and number for the ship to so I can personally sign for the items....
 
I ordered last night with the help of this thread. This morning I received a call from FedEx telling me that they would require a signature at drop off and then a few minutes ago I received an email with tracking info.

My dock is on the way...you would not believe the hoops that I was trying to jump thru to make this work before finding out about the "magical zip code".

I ordered mine on Saturday, I havent received any update at all, not from VZW or FedEx. I think that I would have by now with the free overnight. I checked my order status and it just says it's processing. Not sure what the issue is.
 
Does anyone know what the dock comes with charger-wise? The reps in my store didn't know and they were out of stock so they couldn't look. Does it come with its own wall-wart charger or is it just the synch cable. If it's just the synch cable, it defeats my desire to get it for bed-side use (REALLY just looking for a charger to leave plugged in there) and I'll just get what I need from monoprice.com...

The pictures I have seen show it with the same wall-wart and data cable that comes with the phone which is a large reason why I wanted one. I needed to order another OEM charger for work but now I dont have to.

I'm not sure. I will receive mine tomorrow. If you just want a simple/cheap wall charger you can get an OEM BlackBerry wall charger from Amazon for under $5 shipped. Just make sure it is for Tour or other newer models. That is what I use now at home (my BB Tour's charger and ordered an extra from Amazon since it was cheap, then found these this weekend).

I'm still undecided, I DO get a corp. discount on it but it still may not be worth it when I can just get a wall-wart and 6ft USB cable for under $3...

I live in Michigan and ordered mine online Saturday using Chicago's zip code to find one. Fed Ex just called my cell phone with a tracking number telling me a signature is required and delivery will be Tuesday.
 
I stumbled upon this site while I was seraching the web for the Droid cradle that's been out of stock at my verizon locations for a while. And to my pleasant surprise, the suggestion of changing the location 'WORKED" and it's on it's way to Pa. I would never have thought that would be possible.

wonder if anyone has experienced this... I get the employee discount, and ordered the cradle and the car holder online. The order was submitted without issue, however there has been NO update on the order. So I called the employee customer service to see if there was an issue. They basically told me no issue they just havent gotten to it yet.... I ordered on Saturday with overnight shipping. I am wondering if they are purposely delaying the order because I am under an "employee" plan.

Any one else?
